Incheon National University's Dept. of Health & Kinesiology Wins National College Student Functional Anatomy Competition and Research Paper Presentation Competition

Incheon National University announced that undergraduates of the Dept. of Health & Kinesiology won the best group award and individual gold and bronze medals at the university student research thesis presentation contest at the 2024 Kinesiology Academic Conference organized by the Korea Sports History Association.
Eleven undergraduate students majoring in Helath & Kinesiology at Incheon National University participated in the 22nd National College Student Functional Anatomy Competition and College Student Research Paper Presentation Competition held from October 26 to 27. Under the leadership of Ko Joo-pil and Professor Kim Nam-woong of the Dept. of Health & Kinesiology, they won the grand prize for the organization of the College of Functional Anatomy Competition, the gold prize (Kwon Hyuk-jin, 4th grade in the Dept. of Health & Kinesiology), and the bronze prize (Donghyun Gu, 4th grade in the Dept. of Health & Kinesiology).
Professor Ko Joo-pil and Professor Kim Nam-woong of the Dept. of Health & Kinesiology are the advisors of the performance and rehabilitation exercise club (PRE), which supports undergraduate students to gain practical experience related to rehabilitation and performance training and improve their expertise in various ways. In addition, as the director of the Athlete Training Research Lab (ATRL) and Applied Biomechanics Lab (ABL), they are conducting research to effectively apply biomechanical analysis to the actual training field.
