- Bacteria, single-celled organisms with the simplest structure, must be sensitive to environmental changes to survive.
- In this lab, we research the connections between glycogen metabolism, which is common to many organisms, and the regulatory systems of bacterial life history and pathogenicity. In this regard, we use physiological, biochemical, and molecular biological techniques to understand the metabolism and carbon source storage in response to nutrient imbalance and its impact on bacterial life cycles.
- In addition, we are developing industrial microbial strains, isolating valuable genes, and researching the preparation and application of bio-metallic nanoparticle complexes and small molecule biocomposites using solution plasma.
